Joseph E. Uridil IV
MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, CFRN
Joseph E. Uridil IV is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in critical care, electrophysiology, flight nursing, and clinical leadership. Over the course of more than two decades in healthcare, he has served in diverse roles ranging from ICU nurse and emergency department manager to helicopter flight nurse and nurse practitioner in both outpatient and inpatient critical care settings.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Joseph began his career as a Hospital Corpsman and Advanced Medical Laboratory Technician with the Fleet Marine Force and aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68). He has since built a career defined by clinical excellence, adaptability in high-acuity environments, and a commitment to patient-centered care. His expertise includes advanced ventilator management, invasive procedures, electrophysiology consults, and comprehensive critical care for acutely ill patients.
Joseph has held leadership roles as a Clinical Base Lead, ER Manager, and Assisted Living Facility Director, where he combined direct patient care with program oversight, staff development, and system-level quality improvement. Recognized for his “lead from the front” approach, he is known for mentoring peers, collaborating across disciplines, and exceeding expectations in challenging environments.
Committed to service beyond the bedside, Joseph actively contributes to his community as a long-standing volunteer with the Patriot Guard Riders and Honor Flight Medical Crew. He is an avid scuba diver, and enjoys hunting, camping, and time with his family and two dogs. He is board certified by the ANCC, a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN), and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Emergency Nurses Association, the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, and the Society of Trauma Nurses.
Joseph holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Sheila L. Uridil
MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, ANP-BC
Sheila L. Uridil is a double boarded Nurse Practitioner, having both her Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Adult Nurse Practitioner licenses with over two decades of experience in critical care, hospital medicine, trauma coordination, and leadership. She currently serves as a Nurse Practitioner with the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System and as Medical Director of Freya’s Laser & Body Sculpting. Sheila has recently ventured into the world of aesthetics, performing Cellenis Derma PRP injections at Freya’s Laser & Body Sculpting and botulinum toxin injections.
Throughout her career, Sheila has demonstrated expertise across diverse clinical environments, including hospitalist medicine, hospice, internal medicine, and trauma program management. She previously served as Trauma Program Manager and Nurse Care Coordinator at BryanLGH Medical Center, where she also spent more than a decade as a Neurotrauma ICU nurse, charge nurse, mentor, nurse practitioner and trauma program manager.
Recognized for her leadership and contributions to trauma care, Sheila is a three-time recipient of the Trauma Champion Award and has served as a lecturer on trauma care at universities, nursing programs, and professional forums. She is board certified through the ANCC, maintains multi-state licensure as an APRN and RN, and is certified in ACLS, BLS, and advanced trauma training.
Sheila is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, and has served in regional and organizational leadership roles in trauma care and hospitalist practice. She holds a Post-Master’s Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In her free time, Sheila finds joy in the great outdoors—reading, camping, and hiking among her favorite pursuits. She delights in good music and dancing, and treasures quality moments with family, friends, and her beloved pets.
